I am a runner. I am an attorney. I want to be a photographer and a writer. This is my journey. I welcome you to follow along with my steps (or, more accurately, missteps). I’ve got big plans for life, but I’m not certain yet how to make those plans into reality. I am often running along in the dark, both literally and figuratively, wondering where each step forward is going to take me. Will I trip? Will I fall? Will I run like the wind? In a mid-life career crisis myself, so kudos to you for taking some good steps! I would be interested to know what happens from here.
I got to your blog, actually, from the picture of your dog! We have a dog named Rascal–literally named in the first 10 seconds we met him, as his nose went right into my purse. He is mostly beagle, but I am becoming more and more convinced that he has a fair amount of border collie in him, too. He looks very much like your Maggie, with a little less white and a little more brown. Rascal is the same way when there are animals outside of our house, but b/c of the increased beagle in him, he bays! But he is SO good tempered, I wouldn’t trade him for the world!
That is too funny! Maggie rarely bays, but every so often she sounds just like a beagle. We recently got a hound mix, and he does nothing but bay! They are both very good tempered also – I think it is that hound breed. Rascal sounds like a perfect name. Best of luck with your career crisis – it’s never fun. Thanks for stopping by!
